Example: Arrival Phase: Arrival time was preset to 6:30 pm PST Defender has 16500 points and attackers have 12000 points. tons. Defenders have 17 players, attackers have 25 players. Drop coordinator hands out their numbers as they arrive. Count Phase: Count time was preset to 6:45 pm PST Defender declares wants to get freebooters so that will take 500 points off the top per freebooter, since they are outnumbered. The defender hauls butt but is only able to find 3 freebooters in 10 minutes. So the defender only has 15000 left for ship assignments and gets 100 TIE Interceptors. The attacker uses 50 Y-Wings. So The final count is done as 20 players (100 starships) against 25 players (50 starships). Everyone runs the battle tracker. It tells them there is one 1on1, 5 2on1s, 7 2on2s. The battle tracker will tell what room to go to based on their number that they were given and the stop points. They exchange IP numbers on take note of who they are fighting with and perhaps even ICQ numbers to be thorough. Drop Phase: Drop time is mandatory 6:55 pm PST Everyone drops to native IP and has a great time. Everyone is told to return back by 7:30 pm PST for the next round. Results Phase: The defenders are stellar performers and despite a numbers advantage, the defenders loose 60 starships and the attackers lose 75. since the attackers only had 50 available, the battle is over and things proceed to the accounting phase. If both sides had ships left, you do another round. Note: on subsequent rounds 10 minutes is NOT given to find freebooters, since some people will arrive early. However at the start of a new battle, they do get 10 minutes. Accounnting Phase (only at the end of a battle) Since the attacker went over by 25 losses. Both sides have 25 subtracted from their losses. So final losses are defender 35 and attacker 50.
